Smokehead Rum Riot Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a powerful and unconventional special edition from the Smokehead brand, which is renowned for its rebellious Islay whiskies. Produced by Ian Macleod Distillers, this expression captures the typical smoky character of the Scottish island of Islay with a surprising twist: a secondary maturation in Caribbean rum casks. This unusual combination lends the single malt an additional sweet and spicy depth, without losing the distinctive peaty character that makes Smokehead so unmistakable.

With an alcohol content of 43% ABV, this Islay malt is both approachable and intense. The rum finish introduces notes of molasses, candied fruit and spices, which blend superbly with the typical aromas of smoke, campfire and salty sea air. Bottled in striking packaging and with a clear message: this is not a whisky for traditionalists, but for adventurers with a discerning palate.
