The Bokma Oude Genever is a classic Dutch spirit that revives the centuries-old genever tradition. Produced in the Netherlands, this Oude Genever is characterized by its high malt content and the balanced combination of juniper and other botanicals. The term "Oude" (old) does not refer to aging, but to the traditional method of production, which requires at least 15% malt wine. This gives it a creamy texture and a fine balance between malty, spicy, and slightly fruity aromas.
The Bokma Oude Genever is made according to a 19th-century recipe, refined with high-quality grain and careful distillation in copper pot stills. With 38% ABV, it offers a pleasant, smooth mouthfeel with a subtle juniper note and a fine spice.
