Amrut Distilleries Private Limited is part of the N.R. Jagdale Group, one of the oldest industrial groups in India, also known as the Silicon Valley of India.

The group was founded in 1948 by Mr. Radhakrishna Jagdale, initially as a small spirit blending and bottling plant.

Amrut Whisky is proud to be the first single malt whisky from India. Its name means "nectar of the gods/life" and reflects the exceptional quality and enjoyment of this whisky.

Among the diverse bottlings of Amrut Whisky is the Amrut Kadhambam. The Amrut Kadhambam Single Malt Whisky matures in three different types of casks: Bangalore Blue Brandy casks, Rum casks, and Oloroso Sherry Butts.
