The Tomintoul Distillery, located in the Scottish Highlands in Cairngorms National Park and named after the nearby village of Tomintoul, opened its doors in 1964 and is now owned by Angus Dundee Distillers.

At 370 meters above sea level, Tomintoul is Scotland's second-highest distillery, surpassed only by the Braeval Distillery, founded in 1973. Although the majority of the 3.2 million liters of alcohol produced annually are exported to the United States for blends, Tomintoul consistently releases special single cask bottlings.

Pure ingredients and the pristine nature of the Scottish Highlands give the award-winning Tomintoul Speyside Glenlivet Single Malt Scotch Whisky its soft and smooth character. Water from the Ballantruan spring, known for its exceptional purity, plays a crucial role in the production of this whisky. The Tomintoul Speyside Glenlivet matures for 14 years in ex-Bourbon casks made of American white oak, which imparts rich aromas.
