Founded in 1798, Highland Park Distillery is one of Scotland's oldest and most prestigious whisky distilleries. Located in Kirkwall on the Orkney island of Mainland, it is Scotland's northernmost distillery. Surrounded by rugged nature and stormy seas, Highland Park whisky reflects the unique climatic conditions of the Orkney Islands. Today, the distillery is part of The Edrington Group and produces around 2.5 million liters of whisky annually.

To honor this unique climate and as a tribute to Niflheim, the Old Norse world of ice, frost, and mist, the Highland Park 17 Years Old Ice Edition was created.

Matured in ex-bourbon casks, this special release delights with aromas of fresh pineapple and ripe mangoes, perfectly balanced by spicy smoke and ginger root. With an alcohol content of 53.9%, this limited edition was released in spring 2016 and is a highlight for lovers of powerful, complex whiskies.
