The Bushmills Distillery, located in the picturesque County Antrim in Northern Ireland, is the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery. Its origins date back to 1608, when Sir Thomas Phillips received the first license to produce whiskey in the region. Jose Cuervo and Bushmills have launched an exclusive series for duty-free retail, the "Steamship Collection," inspired by the SS Bushmills, a 125-year-old steamship. In 1890, this ship marked the beginning of Bushmills' international trade, particularly with the USA and Asia. Bushmills Sherry Cask from this series matures exclusively in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts.
