Cork, located on the south coast of Ireland, is home to the picturesque town of Skibbereen, which is traversed by the River Ilen. This region is known for its scenic beauty and cultural significance, particularly in the tradition of whiskey production. In 2007, three friends founded the West Cork Distillery in Skibbereen. This small, independent distillery is characterized by the production of high-quality whiskeys, made with great care and craftsmanship.

From the outset, the founders focused on quality and tradition, combined with an innovative approach. West Cork Distillery uses crystal-clear spring water and carefully selected grains. This commitment reflects the spirit of innovation and craftsmanship characteristic of the Irish whiskey industry.

This blend of selected grain and malt Irish whiskey matures in double charred first-fill bourbon casks.
