The history of the Hödl Hof distillery dates back to 1542. In 1966, Franz and Gisela Dunst took over the farm and converted it to fruit and wine growing.

In 1993, Alfred Dunst founded a commercial fruit distillery and dedicated himself exclusively to the subject of "Schnaps". In 2002, he took over the fruit and forestry business.

A variety of herbs, blossoms, seeds, and roots from our neighboring and beautiful Joglland give this herbal specialty its unforgettable, subtly bitter taste.

Infused with old distillates of gentian and rowanberry, this bitter is created, which is exceptionally digestible. According to popular belief, a shot of herbal liqueur can prevent one or two stomachaches.
