Originally "Tatraner Tee," this tea originates from the Tatra Mountains.

The Tatra Mountains, part of the Carpathian mountain range in Eastern Europe, were once home to people who believed that a special healing herb existed for every illness.

The ingredients for these "healing potions" were always simple: hot water prepared with honey, garlic, tallow, and alcohol.

The same applies to today's Tatratea Liqueur, which uses black tea from India, oak shavings, and selected herbs and spices.
