The Tomintoul Distillery, located in the Scottish Highlands in the Cairngorms National Park and named after the nearby village of Tomintoul, opened its doors in 1964 and is now owned by Angus Dundee Distillers.

At 370 meters above sea level, Tomintoul is Scotland's second-highest distillery, surpassed only by the Braeval Distillery, founded in 1973. Although most of the 3.2 million liters of alcohol produced annually are exported to the United States for blends, Tomintoul consistently releases special single cask bottlings.

The Tomintoul 10 Years Old matures exclusively in hand-selected ex-Bourbon American oak casks, which gives it a fine and balanced character. This single malt is a favorite in the Tomintoul range and has won medals for its outstanding taste at several renowned spirits competitions worldwide.
