The By the Dutch Dry Gin is produced in the renowned traditional distillery Herman Jansen and combines classic gin recipes with innovative ingredients. Particularly noteworthy is the addition of malt wine, a unique element normally used in genever production, which gives the gin a special depth and complexity. This gin is based on a careful combination of eight hand-picked botanicals, including juniper, coriander, lemon peel, blood orange, nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom, and bay leaf.

The production takes place in several steps, with each of the botanicals individually macerated in grain alcohol and then distilled once more. After distillation, the botanicals are combined with the malt wine, water, and more grain alcohol to create the By the Dutch Dry Gin. This meticulous and precise production method results in a gin with a harmonious balance between fruity citrus notes, spicy accents, and a soft texture, perfectly rounded off by the malt wine.
