Glenturret is Scotland's officially oldest whisky distillery still in operation, located in Crieff, Perthshire. In 1875, the distillery was taken over by Thomas Stewart and renamed "Glenturret" from "Hosh Distillery". The Glenturret Distillery prides itself on using traditional whisky-making methods, including floor malting, where barley is turned by hand to ensure even germination, and using the same water source that has been utilized for centuries.

This whisky is matured in Spanish oak sherry casks, which impart rich and fruity flavors to the whisky. The Glenturret Sherry Cask Edition is a non-age statement whisky, but it has been matured for at least 12 years and is bottled at 43% ABV.
