The Knappogue Castle Very Special Reserve Irish Whiskey 1994 is an exclusive vintage bottling that delights connoisseurs and lovers of fine Irish whiskeys. The name Knappogue [Nah' Pogue] comes from Gaelic and roughly translates as ‘Mountain of the Kiss’, reflecting the brand’s romantic origins and history. This fine single malt was distilled in 1994 and matured for many years in oak casks – specifically, ex-bourbon casks – which lend it a harmonious balance of sweetness, spice and gentle woody notes.

Distillation takes place in traditional copper pot stills, which gives the whisky its smooth yet complex character. The Knappogue Castle brand stands for high-quality, limited-edition bottlings and is renowned for its carefully selected, long-matured vintage whiskies. The combination of first-class ingredients, artisanal distillation and years of maturation makes this whisky an exceptional tasting experience.
