The limited edition Jack Daniel's Red Dog Saloon is dedicated to the opening of the Red Dog Saloon bar in Lynchburg, Tennessee, which Jack Daniel himself established over 125 years ago. After founding his distillery, Jack Daniel wanted to give back to the community and create a gathering place. Thus, in 1892, he opened the Red Dog Saloon on the town square, which unfortunately no longer exists today. Alongside the White Rabbit Saloon, the Red Dog Saloon was Jack Daniel's second bar and enjoyed great popularity. Here, residents met for conversations and music and enjoyed the locally distilled whiskey, which is still produced today.
