The Styrian Apple Route region, situated in the picturesque Styria region of Austria and home to Abellio, is renowned for its high-quality apples. Every year, 15 apple experts select the best variety of apple to guarantee Abellio’s distinctive flavour. The distillation process is a closely guarded secret and is carried out exclusively by these experts. After a year’s ageing, Abellio undergoes rigorous quality control before it goes on sale.
