Ancho Reyes liqueurs are handcrafted from chilies native to Puebla. They employ time-honored techniques for making "menjurjes," mastered by artisans in Puebla in the 1920s. These traditional processes allow for capturing the authentic taste and unique quality of the chilies.

The Ancho chilies used for Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur are hand-picked when perfectly ripe and then sun-dried. During the drying process, they are regularly turned by hand to intensify their flavor, resulting in a rich, warm, spicy, and sweet aroma. After drying, the chilies are collected and macerated for six months at our facility.

Finally, each bottle of Ancho Reyes liqueur is individually hand-labeled and bottled.
