Velho Barreiro GOLD Cachaça 39% ABV 0.7 l is a premium Brazilian cachaça steeped in tradition, which impresses with its intense aroma, refined barrel ageing and authentic sugarcane character. The Velho Barreiro brand is one of Brazil’s best-known cachaça producers and has stood for high-quality sugarcane spirits with a typically Brazilian character for decades. This golden edition is particularly smooth, aromatic and versatile – perfect both neat and in classic cocktails.

Velho Barreiro Gold is aged for a full three years in casks made from Brazilian Rose Jequitibá wood, which gives it its warm golden colour and harmonious structure. The long ageing in wooden casks imparts subtle fruity notes, a hint of spice and a pleasantly mild sweetness to this Brazilian cachaça. With an alcohol content of 39 per cent, this aged sugarcane spirit is smooth, full-bodied and well-balanced. Lovers of authentic Brazilian spirits in particular appreciate the combination of exotic fruitiness, sugarcane aromas and subtle oak ageing.
