Made from the finest sugarcane, this noble rum first matures for several years in ex-Bourbon casks in the Caribbean, where it develops its initial intense aromas of vanilla, caramel, and toasted wood.

After this initial aging, the rum is shipped to France, where it is further aged in former cognac casks. This second aging phase gives it additional complexity, delicate fruit notes, and an elegant smoothness. Only when the rum has reached its optimal drinking maturity is it bottled.
