Characteristic of the Old Pulteney Huddart 46% is its finish in casks that previously held heavily peated malts. This gives this Highland whisky with a Peated Cask Finish a subtle smoky note, without losing its typical maritime style. The maturation combines classic oak cask aging with this special finishing process, creating an exciting balance between fruit, sweetness, salt, and smoke. Bottled at 46%, without excessive interference with its natural structure, this 0.7 liter Maritime Malt presents itself as powerful, complex, and clearly defined.
