Penderyn PEATED Single Malt Welsh Whisky 46% offers a distinctive Welsh take on a smoky single malt and is deliberately set apart from many heavily peated whiskies from Scotland. Penderyn’s Peated Welsh Whisky is produced in Wales using the distinctive Faraday Still, which plays a key role in shaping the distillery’s clear, finely structured style. Rather than heavy or medicinal smokiness, this bottling focuses on gentle, aromatic peat smoke that blends with vanilla, green apple and fresh citrus. This creates a balanced profile in which the smoke remains present without overpowering the whisky’s fruity and elegant core.

At 46% ABV, the Penderyn PEATED Single Malt from Wales has sufficient intensity to clearly distinguish the fruit, vanilla and smoke whilst harmoniously blending them together. Particularly distinctive is the balance of light peaty smokiness, green apples, citrus and vanilla, which lends the whisky an approachable yet distinctive character. The medium-length finish keeps the smoke and vanilla pleasantly present and rounds off the overall impression harmoniously. The 0.7-litre bottle with a gift box is therefore particularly suitable for lovers of lightly smoky single malt whisky who are looking for a stylish alternative to significantly peatier bottlings and, at the same time, wish to discover Penderyn’s Welsh signature.
