The Hinotori 5 Years Old Blended Japanese Whisky is a carefully crafted limited edition, released to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the small Japanese distillery Hinotori, founded in 1949. "Hinotori" means "Phoenix" in Japanese, a symbol found on both the label and the elegantly designed gift box, symbolizing the rebirth and purity of this exquisite whisky.

This special blend combines carefully selected grain and malt whiskies, aged for five years in re-used Mizunara oak casks. This type of maturation imparts unique, subtle wood notes and complex aromas to the whisky. Mizunara oak is known for its ability to add gentle spice notes and a hint of sandalwood. Furthermore, this whisky is bottled without chill filtration and without the addition of colorants, to preserve the natural character and purity of the final product.
