The Old Ballantruan 10 Years Old The Peated Malt is a powerful, peated single malt whisky from the Scottish Speyside, clearly distinguishing itself from the typical, rather mild whiskies of this region. Produced at the Tomintoul Distillery, known for its smooth, elegant malts, Old Ballantruan is the smoky exception – named after a water source in Ballantruan Glen, from which the distillation water originates.

For this 10-year-old bottling, heavily peated malt varieties are used, which gives the whisky its distinctive smoke. At the same time, the long maturation in American oak casks provides depth, structure, and a harmonious balance between smoke, sweetness, and wood. The whisky is bottled at a robust 50% Vol., naturally non-chill filtered and without added color – an authentic malt with character for fans of smoky whiskies.
