The Glen Grant distillery was built in Rothes, Scotland, in 1840 by brothers John and James Grant. In 1872, James Grant's son took over the distillery. Since 2006, it has been part of the Campari Group. Campari is an Italian company that ranks among the world's six largest spirits providers. At the same time, Dennis Malcolm was appointed Master Distiller, and in 2021 he celebrated his 60th anniversary in the Scottish whisky industry.

The Glen Grant Rothes Chronicles CASK HAVEN Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the first of what will soon be three limited edition whiskies in the Rothes Chronicles series. The whisky bears the name of its hometown Rothes, in Scotland. The name Cask Haven is dedicated to the inventiveness and ingenuity of James Grant, who took over the distillery after the death of the founders.

This whisky matures in first-fill bourbon and sherry casks.
