Produced by Capulet & Montague and named after the French naturalist Aimé Bonpland, this rum embodies a spirit of discovery and exceptional quality. The Caribbean rums from Trinidad, Jamaica, and Guyana are first carefully aged and then brought to Germany, where they undergo a second, particularly formative maturation stage.


The Bonpland Rum Rouge VSOP is double-aged in Pinot Noir barriques from the renowned VDP winery Friedrich Becker, which gives it its fine fruit notes, depth, and structure. Under the guidance of Master Blender Andreas Vallendar, a rum is created that impresses with its precision, balance, and authenticity. The result is an elegantly composed rum that combines the power of tropical distillates with the finesse of German red wine culture.
