La Hechicera comes from Spanish and means "The Sorceress". This rum reflects the temptingly beautiful nature of Colombia, the biodiversity of the Caribbean, the magnificent landscape and the irresistible charm of a nation. Giraldo Mituoka began his career harvesting sugarcane during the Cuban Revolution. By chance, Mituoka made his way to the shores of Colombia, where he eventually began to perfect his craft. The first bottling of the Experimental series is dedicated to a noble rum from Colombia with a Moscatel finish. The rum is a blend of rums that mature for 12 to 21 years in American white oak barrels. A several-month finish in ex-Moscatel wine barrels gives this rum its distinctly complex and tropical-fruity character. Bottled: July 2019 Limited to 7,200 bottles!
