The Tomintoul Distillery, located in the Scottish Highlands in Cairngorms National Park and named after the nearby village of Tomintoul, opened its doors in 1964 and is now owned by Angus Dundee Distillers.

At 370 meters above sea level, Tomintoul is Scotland's second-highest distillery, surpassed only by the Braeval Distillery, founded in 1973. Although most of the 3.2 million liters of alcohol produced annually are exported to the United States for blends, Tomintoul regularly releases special single cask bottlings.

Seiridh, pronounced "sheh-ree," is the Gaelic word for Sherry. This perfectly balanced single malt first matures in American bourbon casks, which gives it its basic structure and initial aromas, before receiving its finish in carefully selected Oloroso Sherry Butts from Jerez in Andalusia, Spain, which imparts its special sherry notes. This exclusive bottling is limited to 6,000 bottles worldwide.
