Since 1999, the Slyrs Distillery has been producing the first and only Upper Bavarian single malt whisky, made using the classic rough and fine distillation process. The name "Slyrs" is a pseudo-Gaelic adaptation of "Schliersee," the distillery's hometown, and reflects the regional connection and traditional craftsmanship evident in every drop of this whisky.

The Slyrs Bavarian Rye Whisky is the first rye whisky from the Slyrs brand, produced from a careful blend of rye, barley, and wheat sourced from Bavaria. After distillation, the whisky is reduced to drinking strength with the purest spring water. It then matures for three years in Crocodile Toasted Oak Casks, which gives it its unique and characteristic flavor.

This whisky, which has proven to be particularly successful, will now be permanently added to the Slyrs range.
