The La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Blanc 16% Vol. 0.75 l is a high-quality French vermouth, created by the renowned spirits maker Jean-Sébastien Robicquet. The vermouth line is a tribute to Jean-Baptiste de La Quintinye, the garden architect of the French Sun King Louis XIV, who designed the famous kitchen garden of Versailles. This historical heritage is also reflected in the design, as each bottle bears the Fleur de Lys, the heraldic symbol of the French monarchy. Introduced in 2014, the vermouth collection is based on wines and Pineau des Charentes, a traditional blend of unfermented grape must and eau-de-vie de Cognac from the IGP Charentais wine region in southwestern France. The composition is complemented by a carefully selected blend of 18 botanicals, including wormwood, wine blossoms, and other aromatic herbs and spices. The Royal Blanc then matures for twelve months in French oak barrels, which gives it additional depth and complexity.
