The Macallan QUEST Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 40% opens the Quest Collection with a deliberately fresh and elegant style that showcases the cask expertise of the long-established Macallan Distillery. Inspired by a search spanning more than 20,000 miles for exceptional oak casks, The Macallan Quest Single Malt combines four different, carefully balanced cask types. These include American ex-bourbon casks, hand-selected European oak sherry casks, American oak sherry casks and hogsheads. It is precisely this interplay that gives the whisky its characteristic balance of citrus freshness, soft apple, vanilla and delicate oak spice. Within the Quest Collection, this bottling marks the beginning of a flavour journey that leads from lively and fresh profiles to richer styles.

At 40% ABV, The Macallan Quest 1 l, presented in a gift box, is approachable, harmonious and clearly focused on freshness and delicate cask notes. Apple and lemon combine with vanilla, ginger and dried fruit, whilst nutmeg and cinnamon add further spice. Particularly distinctive is the combination of sweet vanilla oak and fresh citrus aromas, which sets the Quest apart from significantly heavier, more intensely sherry-influenced Macallan bottlings. The 1-litre bottle in a gift box emphasises the prestigious nature of this edition and makes it an attractive gift. For lovers of Highland single malt Scotch whisky with complex oak maturation, The Macallan Quest offers an elegant, versatile interpretation from this renowned house.
