Bell's Original is a Scotch whisky whose history begins in the mid-19th century when Arthur Bell, a businessman from Perthshire, began his work in whisky blending. At the end of the 19th century, he founded the company Arthur Bell & Sons with his sons, which later launched the first blend under the Bell's brand. After Arthur Bell's death, his sons continued the company, acquiring the Blair Athol and Inchgower distilleries.

Currently, Bell's Original is a product of the Diageo group and is based on a combination of approximately 40 different whiskies from renowned distilleries, with a significant proportion of malt from Blair Athol. Other participating distilleries include Caol Ila, Glenkinchie, and Inchgower, which gives Bell's Original its unique and complex taste.
