Inspired by the historic Blackpitts area, immediately behind the new Teeling Whiskey Distillery in the heart of Dublin, comes Teeling Whiskey Blackpitts Peated. This area, known for its maltings and barley malt houses both in the past and present, plays a central role in the history and production of this unique whiskey.
By using peat smoke during the drying of the barley, this whiskey gains its distinctive barbecue smoke aromas, setting it apart from others. It is matured in former bourbon casks as well as ex-Sauternes white wine casks.
