Rum Nation produces rums from various countries and regions, with each bottling reflecting the unique characteristics of its country of origin. In 1999, Rum Nation Rare Rums were launched to showcase particularly rare and high-quality rums. These bottlings are produced by the independent bottler Rossi & Rossi in Italy, known for its expertise and high quality standards.

This particularly old rum, benefiting from the expertise of Cuban masters who brought the art of rum production to Panama, is made from sugar cane molasses and distilled in column stills. After distillation, it matures for 21 years in American white oak barrels, which gives it its distinctive character.

The Rum Nation Panama 21 Years Black Edition skillfully combines the sweet Latino style with the spicy aromas created by prolonged contact with the wood, thus creating a harmonious balance between sweetness and spice.
