Ampersand Distilling Company is a family-owned craft distillery, idyllically situated on a five-acre farm in the Cowichan Valley. Stephen and Jeremy Schacht, a father-son duo with engineering backgrounds, utilize their extensive knowledge of science and traditional distillation techniques to produce exceptional spirits in their handcrafted distillery.

In 2007, Stephen and Ramona moved to the Cowichan Valley to start a vegetable farm. Their son, Jeremy, fascinated by the art of distillation, sought a way to creatively apply his degree in process engineering. The result of these efforts is Ampersand Distilling Company – a new family business that successfully combines innovation and tradition.
