Benriach is always on the lookout for a versatile mix of casks from around the world, chosen for their exceptional character and flavors to impart to the whisky.

The casks are filled with three different types of spirit: classic, peated, or triple distilled.

The distillery is known for its long-standing tradition and, at the end of 2019, is creating a new product range that further highlights the diversity and versatility of Benriach's "orchard fruit style," thus covering the entire spectrum of whisky flavors.

The color palette of the gift boxes and labels is inspired by the natural environment of Speyside.

Benriach The Smoky Twelve is made from a combination of unpeated and peated spirits, matured for at least 12 years in a combination of bourbon, sherry, and Marsala wine casks. The whisky is then expertly married to create a smooth, creamy single malt that is multi-layered and features notes of ripe fruit, aromatic smoky sweetness, and warming oak spice.
