Wood Stork Spiced Rum is made from exquisite ingredients, starting with sugarcane from South America. After the molasses is extracted from the sugarcane, it is carefully transported to the Black Forest. There, it undergoes an elaborate processing procedure to create the base for the rum.

In the traditional distilleries of the Black Forest, the rum is distilled in specially crafted copper pot stills. This type of distillation, known as the pot still method, is particularly advantageous for preserving the natural aromas of the molasses. Compared to more modern methods, this classic process allows for a more intense flavor development and ensures a richer, fuller-bodied distillate.
