Since 1635, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating vines in the hills near Refrontolo, the Bottega family has continuously evolved. After farming their own land, Aldo Bottega revolutionized grappa production by introducing the first single-varietal grappa. The Distilleria Bottega, which he founded in 1977, is now located in a renovated 17th-century farmhouse in Bibano di Godega di Sant’Urbano, surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.

The core of this liqueur is the pistachio nuts that thrive on Sicily's Mount Etna. After harvesting, the pistachios are processed using traditional methods and refined into a fine paste. The skillful combination of this paste with alcohol, water, sugar, and a hint of grappa creates an exceptional and unique liqueur that perfectly captures the distinctive taste of Etna pistachios.
