Since 1635, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating grapevines in the hills near Refrontolo, the Bottega family has steadily evolved. After cultivating their own land, Aldo Bottega revolutionized grappa production by introducing the first single-varietal grappa. The Distilleria Bottega, which he founded in 1977, is now located in a renovated 17th-century farmhouse in Bibano di Godega di Sant’Urbano, surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.

For this particularly fruity liqueur, the Femminello lemon variety, widely used in Italy and known for its resilience and year-round blooming, is primarily used. The lemons are harvested at the peak of their ripeness and processed using traditional methods. The lemon peels are then steeped in alcohol for about 30 days to fully extract their aromas.

After separating the components and adding sugar as well as a splash of grappa, an exceptional citrus liqueur is created, captivating with its intense aromas and refreshing fruitiness.
