The Don Q brand owes its name to the world-renowned novel "Don Quixote" by Miguel Cervantes. The Serrallés family, who produce this premium rum in Puerto Rico according to old family traditions, has created a special product with the Don Q Double Cask Finish. This rum is made from a careful blend of rums produced using both continuous and discontinuous distillation methods.

Don Q Double Cask Finish was first aged from October 2009 to July 2012 in American white oak bourbon barrels and was carefully blended in May 2018 before the rums received their final touch from June 2018 through further aging in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks.

Bottled in 2020, the rum is characterized by its unique taste and remarkable depth, which results from the extended contact with the sherry-soaked wooden barrels. This special aging gives Don Q Double Cask Finish a special note that sets it apart from other rums and makes it an exceptional pleasure.
