Since 1635, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating grapevines in the hills near Refrontolo, the Bottega family has steadily evolved. After cultivating their own land, Aldo Bottega revolutionized grappa production by introducing the first single-varietal grappa. The Distilleria Bottega, which he founded in 1977, is now located in a renovated 17th-century farmhouse in Bibano di Godega di Sant'Urbano, surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.

The classic cappuccino is traditionally enjoyed in Italy in the morning for breakfast or afterwards. According to legend, the Capuchin monk Marco d'Aviano drank a very strong coffee during his stay in Vienna, which was served to him with milk to soften the taste – thus, the special drink is said to have originated.
