The Teaninich 17 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Limited Release 2017 is an exclusive whisky that reflects the rich history and heritage of the Teaninich Distillery. Captain Hugh Munro and his family's seat was Teaninich Castle, and in 1817 they founded the first legal distillery in Ross-shire. Although the original building and part of Munro Castle have unfortunately disappeared, the family's whisky heritage has been preserved over the centuries and is celebrated with this Limited Release bottling.

To celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Teaninich Distillery, this special single malt whisky is being launched, having matured for 17 years in refill American white oak hogsheads. The long maturation ensures a complex and profound aroma that perfectly combines both woody and fruity notes. The whisky was distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2017, and comes with an alcohol content of 55.9% Vol., making it a powerful yet harmonious whisky.
