Tullibardine 228 Burgundy is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Tullibardine Distillery in the Scottish village of Blackford in Perthshire. The distillery was founded in 1949 on the site of a former brewery and has been producing whisky ever since. In 2003, the distillery was saved from closure when a team of independent investors, led by former investment banker Michael Beamish, took it over. Since then, the Tullibardine Distillery has gained success and received many awards for its whiskies.

This Tullibardine 228 Burgundy underwent a twelve-month finishing period in red Burgundy casks from Château de Chassagne Montrachet, which have a capacity of 228 liters. This special maturation gives the whisky its impressive, ruby-red color. During the finishing period in these casks, the whisky develops additional depth and complexity, leading to a rich and multifaceted flavor profile.
