The distillery is located in the picturesque Lorraine region of France and relies on traditional methods and high-quality raw materials to produce its whisky. Since peat extraction from bogs is prohibited in France, the necessary peat is imported from Northern Germany, which gives the whisky a special touch. Distillation takes place in classic copper pot stills, which ensure even heat distribution and optimal aroma extraction.

After distillation, the whisky matures for five years, with 80% of the casks made from French oak and 20% from American oak, leading to a unique variety of flavors. With a peat content of 33 ppm, the whisky has a characteristic smokiness that makes it special.
