In the picturesque landscape of Riegersburg in Styria, Alois Gölles, a third-generation farmer, runs the traditional family fruit-growing business. After graduating from the renowned Federal Institute for Viticulture and Pomology in Klosterneuburg, he dedicated himself to refining his parents' harvest of apples, pears, plums, and peaches. His foray into distilling noble brandies began in 1979, followed by the establishment of his manufactory for high-quality vinegar in 1984. Today, the product range includes around twenty noble brandies and just as many vinegar varieties, which regularly receive awards.

Ruotker's Wilhelm III. Whiskey is distinguished by the use of the finest Scottish barley and undergoes a maturation process of 4 to 5 years in American white oak barrels. A special feature of this whiskey lies in its processing and distillation in Styria, which gives it a unique combination of traditional Scottish raw materials and Austrian craftsmanship. This whiskey was carefully selected and blended by David Gölles.
