Ron Malecon owes its name to the famous "Malecon" promenade in Havana, the capital of Cuba, known for its lively atmosphere and historical significance. The brand was founded by Marco Savio, an Italian rum specialist, whose passion for high-quality rum laid the foundation for Ron Malecon. Ron Malecon is distilled in Panama from molasses using traditional Cuban methods, employing copper column stills.

Rum Malecon has made it its mission to consistently create a high-quality premium rum with a distinctive, pronounced flavor. The premium range includes rums aged 10, 12, 15, and 18 years, where carefully selected rums with unique flavor profiles are precisely blended to ensure the final product surpasses the sum of its individual parts and impresses with its harmonious complexity.

This dark premium rum is produced by the Caribbean Spirits distillery in Panama using traditional Cuban methods and ages for at least 18 years in oak barrels, which gives it its characteristically deep and balanced flavor.
