Description
Description
The Jack Daniel's Select Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey represents the pinnacle of craftsmanship from the traditional distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. This bottling does not come from a standardized batch but is selected barrel by barrel, exclusively using barrels with particularly strong character from the upper warehouse rows. There, temperature fluctuations are strongest, leading to more intense maturation and a distinct aroma profile. Each bottle thus represents an individual barrel and underlines Jack Daniel's commitment to combining traditional production methods with selective quality.
This Tennessee Whiskey is made from corn, rye, and malted barley and undergoes the characteristic Jack Daniel's charcoal mellowing process before barrel aging. In this process, the distillate is filtered drop by drop through several meters of sugar maple charcoal. The subsequent maturation takes place in new, heavily charred American white oak barrels. Bottled at 47%, non-chill filtered, and complemented by a high-quality gift box with a snifter glass, this bottling presents itself as an expressive and authentic interpretation of classic Tennessee Whiskey.
