The WhistlePig Distillery was founded in 2007 on a purchased farm and officially opened in 2015 after extensive renovations. Master Distiller Dave Pickerell developed custom-made copper stills specifically for the distillery, which are now in continuous operation seven days a week.

The WhistlePig 15 Year Straight Rye is one of the oldest whiskies from the distillery and one of the first to receive a finish in casks made from their own Vermont oak. This special finishing process in Vermont oak barrels, which lasts over three years, allows the whiskey to fully develop its aromas and achieve remarkable depth.

With an alcohol content of 92 Proof (46%), this whiskey offers a powerful and expressive taste experience that underlines its maturity and wisdom. It reflects not only the age, but also the sophistication and complexity achieved through the careful finishing in the specially crafted oak barrels.
