The Kavalan Concertmaster Port Cask Finish Single Malt Whisky 40% Vol. 0.7 l + GB is an elegant and balanced single malt whisky from Taiwan, perfectly embodying the craftsmanship and innovative spirit of the renowned Kavalan Distillery. The distillery, located in Yilan, uses only pure spring water from Taiwan's snow-capped mountains for its production – an essential element contributing to the whisky's purity and clarity. The region's tropical climate ensures particularly fast maturation, lending the whisky impressive depth and complexity.


The Concertmaster is considered a refined evolution of the classic Kavalan Single Malt. After its initial maturation in a combination of fresh and refill Bourbon casks and Sherry casks, it undergoes an approximately six-month finish in selected Port wine casks. This finish imparts a harmonious sweetness, fruity depth, and a creamy-smooth texture that clearly distinguishes it from other bottlings from the distillery.
