Produced in Japan and named after the spiritual site of Nara, this whisky is a tribute to the ancient art of whisky making and its connection to nature. Particularly noteworthy is its maturation in Japanese Yoshino-Sugi casks (Japanese cedar) – a type of cask unique worldwide, which imparts its unmistakable aroma to the whisky.

The Intense Wood Edition is the most powerful expression in the Kamiki series. It combines various internationally produced malt whiskies, which first mature in traditional oak casks and then receive their special finish in Sugi wood casks. The result is an intensely woody, multi-layered blended malt with a distinctive character. With an alcohol content of 48% Vol., the whisky is bottled naturally and non-chill filtered – a true experience for connoisseurs and lovers of Asian whisky art.
