The whisky initially spends three years in Scotland, where it matures in a cool, temperate climate. It is then transferred to the island of Martinique in the Caribbean for another year, where it undergoes further maturation in a former rum cask from the French Antilles. This two-stage aging process in two completely different climate zones promotes a complex interplay of aromas and leads to a rich, multifaceted flavor profile.

This transcontinental maturation, which utilizes the differences in temperature and environment, creates a whisky that captures the essence of both worlds and unites them in a harmonious, yet complex product.
