The Perfect Circle whiskies are produced by Shiki Shuzo Co. Ltd. in Japan. This distillery works with many local Japanese distilleries. Shiki Shuzo is an independent company that has a business relationship with Matsui Shuzo, the producer of Kurayoshi whisky.

"Enso" is a sacred symbol in Zen Buddhism and means "circle". This calligraphy is traditionally drawn with a single brushstroke and is not altered afterwards. This whisky features the sacred Japanese symbol as a label on the bottle.

Juju Kurihara is the Japanese calligrapher responsible for the design. She leads the "Sosekido" school in Japan.

The Maen Perfect Circle Whisky is a blend of malt and grain whiskies, distilled two to three times in copper pots and aged between three and five years. The maturation takes place in American Bourbon casks made of white oak.
